More likely a question will be asked in the other way. If the booking is &#8216;Cancelled&#8217;, what would the work order status be? Answer &#8216;Cancelled&#8217;.<br><br>Now, what about the open and closed?<br>This is a broader categorization:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Open<\/strong>: Includes work orders in statuses like &#8220;Unscheduled,&#8221; &#8220;Scheduled,&#8221; &#8220;In Progress,&#8221; and even &#8220;Completed.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Closed<\/strong>: Includes work orders in statuses like &#8220;Posted&#8221; or &#8220;Canceled.&#8221;<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Why is a completed order considered &#8216;Open&#8217;? <br>Because it hasn&#8217;t reached the final stage of its lifecycle. Here&#8217;s why:<br>When a work order&#8217;s <strong>system status<\/strong> is set to <strong>&#8220;Completed&#8221;<\/strong>, it indicates that the fieldwork has been finished. However, additional actions like review, approval, or invoicing may<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">*** Additional Info (not for exam)<br><br>Work Order Status Field: msdyn_systemstatus.
